Today I am simply thrilled to welcome on the podcast star guitarist Kevin Eubanks!

Known for having been the bandleader of the band of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno for over 15 years, he has been enjoying an incredible career.

Born in Philadelphia in ’57, he subsequently moved to New York – where he performed with jazz greats such as Art Blakey and Roy Haynes – before heading to Los Angeles to become a regular member, and then bandleader, of the band of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

At the moment, Kevin Eubanks is touring Europe as part of Dave Holland’s Prism.

Mr. Eubanks comes on the show to talks about growing up in Philly, playing in New York, The Tonight Show and also gives out advice to young musicians.
