Review & Playlist Submissions

Editorial Review & Playlist Submissions.

We love to receive new album submissions. As you can imagine we receive way more submissions than we can review. That said we do listen to all submissions. Below are some guidelines as to how best to submit to Jazz In Europe for review. These are not hard and fast rules but one of the best ways to increase the chance that we will select your album for review is to provide us with all of the information that we require in the format set out below.

Albums:

  1. Please provide a streaming link (A private SoundCloud or similar works great). If the album has already been released, a link to Spotify or other streaming platform, Bandcamp included, is perfect.
  2. Please do not send physical copies or digital downloads unless the have been requested.
  3. Please include a correctly formatted press release. This is vital.
  4. We also like to receive a release 1-Sheet with all of the production details, line-up and track-listing and composer information.
  5. A link to a location where we can download press photos and album art-work is the best way to deliver these. Please do not send these as attachment’s – they just clog up our inbox.

Books

  1. Please include a link to where we can download a PDF copy of the book or a synopsis.
  2. Please do not send physical copies or digital downloads unless re request these.
  3. Please include a correctly formatted press release. This is vital.

Playlist & Videos

  1. 1. Please provided a Spotify link for playlist submissions. For video submissions, Youtube or Vimeo are the most suitable.
  2. For playlist submissions, please do your homework, listen to our playlists and please only submit music that you think will be relevant. Some background information about the track and the artist would help.
  3. For video Submissions, please include a press release relevant to the video.

Our Editorial Team handles submissions for album reviews, video and book releases. and our playlist curators consider playlist submissions. Due to a large number of submissions, we receive there are no guarantees that we will be able to review your release(s) however we will do our best. If chosen for review we will contact you.

Review submissions should be sent to info@jazzineurope.com

Thanks for your understanding.
