Written by Noise Adventures The Cyprus Project is getting ready to perform at the 40th Leverkusener Jazztage for two consecutive nights, on the 17th and 18th of November 2019.
The band – formed by Eckhard Meszelinsky of Noise Adventures and Cypriot guitarist Okan Ersan – performed together for the first time at the International Famagusta Art and Culture Festival in Cyprus last year, which was followed by a winter tour in Germany.
The band consisting of Eckhard Meszelinsky on saxophone, Okan Ersan on guitar, Christian Dellacher on keys, Oytun Ersan on bass and Jan Niemeyer on drums, has performed at the 39th Leverkusener Jazztage, Aalener Jazzfest and Ingolstadt Jazztage in 2018.
The band will hit the stage once again as part of the 40th Leverkusener Jazztage, on the 17th and 18th of November, opening for Al DiMeola at Erholungshaus Leverkusen.
