Canadian singer Tia Brazda returns to Europe with her cheerful brand of vintage jazz pop! Tia will be performing material from her upcoming album When I Get Low on May 27 at Hamburg’s famous Birdland club, April 29 and 30 at the B-Flat in Berlin and Pizza Express Live in London on May 2nd.

When I Get Low is Brazda’s third full-length release, after her well-received 2015 debut Bandshell and its 2018 successor Daydream brought her all across Canada, the US and Europe. Her music has been described as “a hip pastiche”, “a walking catalog of 20th century jazz styles”, and “as good as it gets” in swing jazz, with No Depression magazine saying she is “truly an original”. Where previous original material flirted with (electro)swing, Brazda’s latest offering is sure to charm more traditional jazz fans as well, presenting Great American Songbook standards with a fresh, modern twist.

Tia’s sparkling presence, sure to be admired by fans of The Puppini Sisters and Caro Emerald, previously graced European stages such as Montreux Jazz Festival and Spirit de Milan. This spring, her sassy approach to jazz and her pin-up style are sure to enchant an even bigger European audience. On this special occasion, she’s joined by not just her own trio, but also German pianist Bela Meinberg.

Tickets are available at the venues.
