Sylwester Ostrowski unites international lineup to celebrate life after covid

Celebrating the end of a long, trying year for everyone, Polish saxophonist Sylwester Ostrowski brings together an international all-star lineup on July 8 for a once in a lifetime jazz extravaganza in Anzio just south of Rome.

A Night in Anzio is an exclusive, invitation-only event presenting the latest and greatest of the international jazz scene, including Igor Butman (RU) and Alexander Beets (NL) on tenor sax, Albert Bover (ES) on piano and Camille Thurman (USA) on vocals among many others. In the beautiful, historic setting of the L’Abrazzio Amphitheatre. “We are celebrating friendship and togetherness now that we can again,” says Ostrowski. “Jazz is not dead.. Jazz comes to you.”

While the event is invitation-only, we at Jazz in Europe will be attending and a full report will appear here on the website next week.
