To enter the contest, soloists and groups pay a small registration fee and submit a video (maximum seven minutes) of their performance. 
Entries will be judged by a panel of international jazz experts (meet the experts), comprised of some of the most respected journalists, musicians and educators in the field.

Taklit Publishing & Production Agency (France) will offer an honourable mention to one or more talented young musicians: an opportunity to meet with Taklit, present a personal project and benefit from professional guidance for future career development.
All the musicians’ Web Community Prize Direct access to the final for the most 3 voted musicians by the web community (on YouTube).
(*) The day and time of the live concert in the Ferrara Jazz club will be defined by the jazz club together with the winner. The organizers will provide the winners with free accommodation and various expenses plus a bonus of € 300 for the trip.
(**) The concerts of the Pros&Amateurs and Under 25 category winners will be broadcasted by the following radios (this list is still updating):
