Blues guitarist Nathan James coming to the Netherlands.

This weekend will see Blues guitarist Nathan James in the Netherlands for a series of four gig’s. Kicking of in Eindhoven at “‘t Rozenkopje “ on the 13th and finishing up with a solo performance at the “3 Wise Monkeys” in Ommen on the 16th, James will also appear at the “Zwarte Cross” festival in Lichtenvoorde. For the Eindhoven and Lichtenvoorde shows Nathan will be accompanied by Dutch musicians Jeroen Goossens (drums), Judith Renkema (bass) and Roel Spanjers (Hammond).

When you first meet Nathan James, you know immediately that he’s a Southern California boy. Born and raised in Fallbrook, a sleepy avocado-growing community in North San Diego County, James personifies the term “laid back.” But the moment you start talking about music or,  better still, when he picks up a guitar, well that’s where the story really begins.

Never one to follow convention and always one to think for himself, Nathan James has created a musical identity with his homemade instruments and self taught skills. Armed with his handcrafted washboard guitar and stomping out time on a box made of old fence boards, while singing and blowing harmonica, you are sure to be captivated. Nathan James is a well respected and experienced artist in his field.

Tour Dates:
13 juli: ‘t Rozenkopje, Eindhoven
14 juli: Zwarte Cross, Lichtenvoorde
