This coming summer French based guitarist Michael Felberbaum will be performing with is quartet a number of concerts in Europe and Scandinavia.

This coming summer French based guitarist Michael Felberbaum will be performing with is quartet a number of concerts in Europe and Scandinavia. Born in Rome, Michael Felberbaum, at age eighteen, moved to the United States to study composition and arrangement at the Berklee School of Music. During this period he performed with Frank Lacey, Roy Hargrove, Joshua Redman, the poet Allen Ginsburg.

Upon his return to Europe, he settled in France where he performed and recorded with various artists including among others Marc Copland, Johnny Griffin, Steve Lehman, Stefano Di Battista, Lee Konitz, François Théberge and St. Germain. As a leader Felberbaum has established two bands under his name and recorded two albums exclusively of his own compositions.
