Tim Hauser, Manhattan Transfer & Food

Written by | News

There is just something about Manhattan Transfer and food. Just after Erin Dickins released her new  cookbook and CD combo, “Sizzle & Swing” Co-founder Tim Hauser launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund his line of pasta sauces.

This is not at all surprising, in a recent interview Erin Dickins stated “ I have always had a passion for cooking. In fact all the original members of Manhattan Transfer were into food! We used to get together to rehearse and once done we would all move to the kitchen and keep on cooking.”

On his Kickstarter page Tim stated “All the years I’ve spent on the road exposed me to many different types of food but the one kind I couldn’t get enough of was in Italy. There was just something about the pasta sauce that was different than anything I’d ever had and I wanted to learn to make it at home for my friends and family. So I started experimenting in the kitchen and after a whole year I finally had a batch that I felt was “it”. Several friends were at my house at the time and some of them came into the kitchen and tried the sauce. One of them said “You know, this is the best pasta sauce I’ve ever tasted. It’s certainly better than anything you can find in the supermarket. You should sell it.”

Please take the time to visit the kickstarter page and get behind Tim on this project. There are some great rewards to make it all worthwhile.
